2020, what a year … one for the history books, which no-one could have predicted.
I sincerely hope that each and every one of you has had the best possible year you could have, despite all the hardships and barriers 2020 brought our way.
Although it’s not been a normal year, and perhaps not a great one for smashing goals set in 2019, I think everyone has done absolutely fabulous this year and we all deserve a pat on the back. Adapting to these circumstances, facing the unknown and protecting everyone around us - that’s an accomplishment.
Mentally, this year has been exhausting, but we can only learn from what we’ve been through, and emerge stronger as individuals and as a community.
Today’s post isn’t like my previous ones – it’s short and sweet, just a summary of this year and my way of saying a massive thank you to everyone who has supported me.
From starting this blog, literally, the day before we knew we were going to be locked down in March, I can safely say, it has been surreal.
I’ve loved being able to communicate through my blogs, stay connected to my loved ones and to meet so many new people, too. Talking to people who are going through the same thing as myself brings a different kind of comfort; it’s familiar, it’s empowering and it has a sense of community that feels like nothing else.

I am SO, SO grateful for every single person taking the time to read, watch and give feedback. It means so much and I have been completely overwhelmed.
I have so many future blog post and video ideas and cannot wait to share them with everyone in the coming months.
Please don’t be shy with any feedback you have and any ideas for future blog posts or videos, collabs suggestions or anything you want to know – I’m always happy to hear from you 😊
I started this blog as a way to share my story, an outlet and a platform to get things off my chest, with the possibility of helping others along the way, and I’m so proud of the positive response I’ve had so far. I absolutely love it when people come and ask me questions or just want to chat – this is what I am here for and I want to help as many people as I possibly can. Whilst I don’t want this chronic disease I have to define me, I want to make damn sure I make the best of out a bad situation and help others wherever possible.
I hope everyone is staying safe and enjoys this last day of the year.
Here’s to 2021!
